The Blue Team hopes to turn last night's win into a streak as they take on their next test - a "match the protein" challenge. Each team is given five dishes and must correctly identify the protein source used. The team to name all five in the least amount of time wins.

The Blue Team's Jon and Michael are the first pair up. They incorrectly state that the meatballs are made of lamb. It takes them nine guesses and over four and a half minutes to finally figure out that the meatballs are turkey.

Dan and Zack identify chicken tacos in one try, but Barret and Jeremy blow through four attempts before they need to have their teammates scream out that their protein is duck. Anthony and Ray name the veal in one guess. Jon and Michael hope to redeem themselves, but it takes three tries to identify the swordfish. Ultimately, the men complete the task in ten minutes and 33 seconds.

The women feel confident they can beat that time. Ja'Nel and Jacqueline identify the turkey in one try, and Cyndi and Susan also only take one guess for the chicken. Next up, Nedra and Jessica stumble on the enchilada, taking 12 tries to finally pick duck, but Amanda and Mary get the veal on the first attempt. And while Jacqueline and Ja'Nel need four guesses to identify the swordfish, the Red Team still manages to win the challenge.

As a reward, the women are taken out for a day of fun at a beach house in Malibu with husband-and-wife athletes Laird Hamilton and Gabrielle Reece. The men are left behind to make bread from scratch, including grinding the flour by hand.

In the middle of this tough physical task, Jeremy calls for a medic. When he explains that he's an ex-stroke patient, he is taken off to the emergency room. Jeremy returns several hours later, informing his team that the doctors say he needs to eat more. He retreats to the dorm to make himself dinner.

The Blue Team is awakened at 4 a.m. to bake the bread they had prepped the day before, and then Chef Ramsay calls both teams to the kitchen at 6:30 a.m. They will be feeding breakfast to a dining room full of emergency doctors, nurses and EMTs. The first team to serve all of their diners wins, while someone from the losing team will go home.

In the Blue Kitchen, Jeremy struggles to keep up with his teammates. And when he walks up to the pass to present his sample scrambled eggs, which Chef Ramsay had demonstrated just an hour earlier, he has to admit that he hadn't paid attention. Still, the Blue Team finally delivers their first order.

It seems the women are finding their groove in the Red Kitchen, but Chef Ramsay calls out Nedra for using soggy biscuits to prepare the eggs Benedict. Amanda pitches in on the eggs, and some of the Red diners finally get their breakfast.

Both teams are racing toward the finish line. Nedra and the other women step up to help Jacqueline crank out pancakes, bringing the teams neck-and-neck. But when the women continue to burn their flapjacks, the men deliver their last dish and eke out a win. Chef Ramsay sends the Red Team to the dorms to choose two individuals for elimination.

The women nominate Jacqueline because of her inadequate work on the pancake station, and Mary because she is the weakest player. But when Jacqueline informs Chef Ramsay that Nedra was incapable of flipping a pancake, he tells Mary and Jacqueline to get back in line. Tune in next week to see which contestant he eliminates instead.
