After another brutal elimination, the teams return to the dorm. The men celebrate their victory and the completion of the first dinner service of the season. Meanwhile, Tiffany and Kimmie blame one person for their defeat: Barbie.

After a string of inconsistent services by both teams, Chef Ramsay wants both groups up early, and he's relying on man's best friend to make sure it happens. The contestants are jarred out of their peaceful sleep by a barking dog.

After putting on overalls and rubber boots, the competitors are driven out to a farm. Chef Ramsay tells them they must pull the collars off a flock of sheep to select ingredients for their next challenge. One member from each group will go into the pen and grab a sheep collar with the ingredient of their choice before tagging in their next teammate.

Back in "Hell's Kitchen" each team must prepare four dishes: a lamb steak, a rack of lamb, lamb chops, and ground lamb. With the 45-minute clock counting down, the teams split into pairs and quickly divide up their selected ingredients.

In the Blue Kitchen, Justin and Guy hash out a game plan for the same dish on the men's side, while on the Red Team, Barbie and Robyn immediately start Then Barbie and Robyn second-guess themselves and take the dish out of the oven. Ultimately, with one minute to go, the two women discover that their rack of lamb is undercooked. With no time to spare, they are forced to serve the meat as is.

Chef Ramsay calls up competitors' lamb chops first, as Tiffany and Danielle face off against Don and Clemenza. Gordon calls the women's anchovies and pine nut-crusted lamb chop delicious. He also likes the men's herb-crusted grilled lamb. With a match that's too close too call, he gives both teams a point.

Next up is the battle of the grilled lamb. Patrick presents a lamb sausage against Kimmie and Roshni's curried creation. Even though Chef Ramsay likes Patrick's dish, Kimmie's risky move preparing curry for the first time pays off, and the women take the lead.

When Barbie presents the Red Team's rack of lamb, Chef Ramsay refuses to eat the raw meat. Luckily for the Blue Team, Justin and Guy's dish is fully cooked, and they tie the score two to two.

Last up is the lamb steak. Dana and Christina's braised lamb steak is a bold move that works in Chef Ramsay's eyes. Royce and Brian's marinated grilled lamb steak also passes muster. But in the end, the point goes to the Blue Team.

Chef Ramsay calls Barbie and Robyn out on their lamb dish, saying it's the worst. Robyn explains that her team told her she was overcooking the dish, but she still takes responsibility for the failure.

For their reward, the men get a day at the races. Meanwhile, the women are forced to stay behind and bathe the sheep from the farm - and then eat lamb testicles for lunch.

As the reward unites the men, in the Red Kitchen the punishment is starting to divide the women. When dinner service begins, the women are hoping to pull it together while the men are already a tight unit.

Things get off to a rocky start for the women when Chef Ramsay rejects Danielle's undercooked and under-seasoned risotto. Matters only get worse when she fails to communicate well with Robyn, who's on garnish. Despite this, they manage to push out appetizers.

After a poor first attempt, Brian gets in a groove on the fish station. Appetizers start leaving the men's kitchen at a steady pace, and the men are ready to move on to entrees. Unfortunately for them, Brian falls apart on the cod main dishes. After over- and undercooking numerous pieces of cod, he runs out of the fish. Chef Ramsay substitutes sea bass on the menu and kicks Brian out of the kitchen.

On the women's team, Roshni serves up her first entree from the meat station. But the Wellington is raw, and the diners are kept waiting.

In the meantime, Justin has jumped on fish. It's now up to Don at the meat station to keep the momentum going for the men's team, and he does so with perfectly cooked Wellington. Thanks to their Wellington savant, the Blue Team is getting entrees out to their diners.

When Roshni serves up raw Wellington again, Chef Ramsay kicks her out of the kitchen. Danielle nervously steps up to the plate on the meat station. Don's undercooked sirloin and incorrect estimates on time further infuriate Chef Ramsay. Don, too, is sent back to the dorm.

Soon Danielle, Robyn, Royce, and Justin also suffer Chef Ramsay's wrath, and are all kicked out of service as well.

With more than half of the contestants gone, the final five women and four men continue cooking. Remarkably, even though there are fewer cooks, more food is leaving the kitchen, and the service is completed. However, both teams are declared losers and must pick two individuals each to send home.

The men put Brian and Don forward, while the women choose Roshni and Danielle. In the end, Chef Ramsay eliminates Don but decides to mix things up a bit by sending Roshni to the Blue Team.
