Filipe compared being on the ranch without Sione to what it was like when he first started the show. The only difference was that this time, there was no way for Filipe to bring his cousin back. Kristin broke down in tears as Filipe read a letter that Sione wrote to him before he left the ranch. Kristin and Filipe vowed to fight to stay on the show and make Bob proud.

The players all met on the top of a canyon to find out about their latest challenge. Ali informed them they would be ziplining across the canyon and using their strength to get from one side to the other. The winner would get a $25,000 kitchen makeover along with a supply of healthy groceries.

The teams all worked hard to keep their balance as they walked across their thin wire to the other side of the canyon. Each one tried their best to not look down the steep canyon and instead focus on trying to complete the challenge. Tara struggled when she fell off the cable, but eventually found her way back on. Filipe took a strong lead in the challenge. He didn't keep the lead long; once Tara got her focus back, she gained back the minute she lost and shocked everybody by winning the challenge.

The next day, the players all gathered at Macy's for their makeovers. When they arrived, they found Project Runway's Tim Gunn waiting for them. The players were so excited to see him and find out he was there to help guide them through their makeovers and help them dress for their new, healthier bodies. Tim told the players they would also be dressing up for a Hollywood movie premiere.

Famous hair stylists Brandon Martinez and Tabatha were ready to give the players their complete hair makeovers. The players were both excited and nervous for the changes that would be coming their way.

After the players finished their complete makeovers, they had one more surprise in store for them. The players each had a loved one waiting to escort them to the premiere of The Biggest Loser movie, based on this season. Mike's brother Max started crying, but both Ron and Mike vowed to help Max out with his own weight problem once they got back home.

The players were so happy to walk their first red carpet event and show off their new looks. They granted interviews to all the entertainment media that were covering the event. When they sat down to watch the movie, they were shocked to see it was about all of their lives.

Each player was moved to tears as they watched the film. The players couldn't believe how they looked when they first arrived on the ranch and how far they had come. They realized how unhappy they were when they allowed themselves to get so big.

Bob was amazed with how good his team looked with their new makeovers, but he reminded them they'd lost valuable time and now they'd have to hit the gym. Bob wanted to make sure the players knew he wasn't going to accept anyone going home this week.

Bob reminded Kristin she was still the biggest girl in the house and that meant she was still one of the biggest threats in the house. He kept instilling in her that she had to stay above the yellow line.

Laura's hip had been bothering her for weeks and was only getting worse. Jillian accompanied her along with Dr. H to get X-rays. Dr. H told her that she had the worst stress fracture he had ever seen in the history of the show, and would have to go to immediate surgery. Jillian was devastated by Dr. H's results. This would be the longest a player would have to go without being able to work out in the history of the show.

Jillian returned to the gym to work her team out for a last-chance workout. They were feeling the pain as Jillian pushed them the hardest she could. With each player, she reminded them how important it was to stay above that yellow line.

Mike was the first player to weigh in on the scale. Ali told him he was five pounds away from breaking a record of the most weight lost for one player on the ranch. He was so happy, as was his dad, when the scale revealed he lost five pounds and Mike was now a record holder on The Biggest Loser.

Laura was the last player to weigh in and broke down in tears when she found out she'd gained three pounds. Laura knew that she would not be able to drop the big numbers she needed, because of the hip surgery. Jillian broke down and cried at the thought of Laura being sent home. Jillian just wanted Laura to know she made her and the team so proud and she shouldn't blame herself for her injury. The players now had to choose who to eliminate -- Kristin or Laura.

Kristin pleaded with the rest of the players to keep her on the ranch. She knew she was a big threat for everybody, but she wanted to emphasize the fact that even though she's already lost so much weight, she still weighed 243 pounds and had a ways to go. Meanwhile, Ron wanted to instill that Laura really needed to be eliminated so she could fix herself before she damaged her hip any further.

The elimination was a close call, but in the end, Laura's injury became more of a concern when it came time to voting and she was eliminated. Before Laura gave her tearful goodbyes, Ali told her that The Biggest Loser would be providing some of the best doctors to operate on her, so she could get back in the game and participate in the at-home $100,000 challenge.
