The players heard about their new pop-challenge. The gym would be locked for the entire week. Only two keys could open the gym and they were at top of a mountain that the players had to climb. Once they arrived, they had to choose one key from 130 and come down. If the key didn't unlock the gym, they had to hike the mountain again.

Ron was having a hard time with his bad knee when it came to climbing the hill. The other players chipped in to help him out. Especially Helen, who stayed by his side to make sure he didn't injure himself during the climb. Mike was moved, watching his teammates help his dad.

The players were getting exhausted; the sun was beating down on them as they continued to climb the hill. Shanon felt she grabbed the lucky key as she headed back down the hill. She was right; she selected the first key to unlock the gym. Helen was so happy because it meant she didn't have to climb the hill again either.

Mike was able to find the second key and unlock the gym. Ron was so proud of his son for his accomplishment. The other players were disappointed in themselves for not getting there first. Tara knew that she was now at a disadvantage because she didn't have the gym to rely on.

Jillian met up with her players later on that evening and was brought to tears to see that Dane was still with her team. Especially since Dane was such a threat to Bob's team and Bob had asked for his teammates to vote Dane off the week before. Jillian even agreed that if she were in their shoes, she would have voted Dane off. Meanwhile, Bob was not happy with his team for keeping Dane on the ranch.

Helen wanted to turn the gym into a more comfortable environment. She brought in tables and chairs and prepared healthy snacks for her and Shanon and turned Jillian's side of the gym into a lounge. The sign on the gym read, "Members Only." Meanwhile, Bob was having his team use lawn furniture for stair stepping.

Jillian used the time away from the gym to teach aerobics to her team. She was bringing back the old aerobic moves from the '80s and loving it. Tara was already having a hard time with her workout and asked for a small break. When Jillian refused to grant her the time, Tara broke down. She began feeling the pressure of staying on the ranch.

Bob paid his Brown and Pink teams a visit in the gym. He was amused by their "Club Med" lifestyle, but was there to really work them out and push them. Bob concentrated on weight lifting for Ron, since he was limited because of his bad knee. Meanwhile, Mike was feeling the extra pressure of having the gym as an advantage.

As a stress reliever, the players outside begin playing in the mud. They were having a blast wrestling while getting in a great workout. It was exactly what Tara needed to make her laugh and realize how much she loved her new friends.

It was time for the challenge. Each player had to get on a rowing machine. The more they continued to row, the more power they would get. Using a light behind them, every player started with green; if they began to grow weaker, their light would turn yellow and if their light hit red, the player and their teammate were out of the challenge.

Dane, Laura and Tara found themselves the last ones on the rowing machine fighting for immunity. In the end, Dane won his first challenge and was so happy to have won immunity. Meanwhile, Laura broke down in tears, feeling like she had let her partner down.

Bob wanted to take Ron aside for a conversation. Ron knew that because of his knee, he was only working out a fraction of what the other players were doing. Bob was getting ready to take his team to the beach for a workout and advised Ron to take it easy in the pool on the ranch. Bob told Ron he should look at himself as an inspiration to other men in his condition.

Jillian's team was being pushed to their limits during their last-chance workout outside. She was having them continue their aerobics, then boxing, followed by running. Each player knew how important it was to give it all they had.

Meanwhile, Bob took his team to a day at the beach, but it wasn't going to be a picnic. The players were doing drills like running in the sand, lifting driftwood and carrying oil drums. Kristin was pushing herself to the limit because she never again wanted to see a two-pound weight gain, like she'd had the week before.

Kristin had nothing to worry about because at the weigh-in, not only did she break into the 200s with her weight, she lost a total of 12 pounds. She was thrilled with the results. Cathy, on the other hand, was not happy with only losing one pound. Cathy became scared that the Purple team was going to fall below the yellow line.

The Pink team fell below the yellow line and that meant the players had to choose between Helen and Shanon during the elimination. Shanon told the teams she was ready to go home and wanted her mother to stay on the ranch. The rest of the players respected the Pink team's wishes and eliminated Shanon.
