Filipe was furious with the teammates who had voted Damien off the ranch. Helen pointed out that with Damien gone and Joelle still on their team, they have become weaker to Jillian's team.

The next morning, Bob's team was there to meet him in the gym. It was very obvious that some of the players were still upset with the fact that Joelle had been saved from elimination. Kristin made it a point to not let Joelle's presence get her distracted. Bob assured Kristin and Helen to be supportive of Joelle, but don't let her get in the way of their mission.

The teams gathered around outside to find Ali with a table of food. She told them it was Super Bowl week on the ranch and the players were going to learn how to tailgate the healthy way. Before that could start, Ali told Blaine that it had been arranged for him to go home to his wife, who was in labor. He was emotional at the thought of getting to go home being present at the birth of his fourth child.

Chef Curtis Stone stopped by to help Ali out with a game. The contestants were presented with plates of tailgate food and they had to decide how many calories were in each plate. The winner would get to send Curtis to their at-home teammate to work with them on cooking healthy. Ali also said the winner would get a free two-pound pass at the next weigh in.

The three players who had guessed the closest amount of calories per tailgate snack were chosen to cook with Curtis Stone. Helen, Kristin and Dan were happy to learn how to cook healthy on Super Bowl Sunday. After cooking the healthier version of buffalo wings, the final three players had to again guess the amount of calories. Dan guessed the closest and now Curtis was headed to North Carolina to visit Dan's partner, David.

David was surprised to see Curtis Stone at his door in North Carolina. David admitted to the chef that he hasn't been eating the healthiest since being back home. Curtis was determined to show David how to cook healthy, even if David had never cooked a day in his life. David was impressed with how good the meal he helped prepare really was.

Blaine rushed home to be by his wife's side as she went into labor. Later, he left the hospital room, carrying his brand-new baby son. Blaine said his fourth child was the fifth reason why he needs to lose weight and get healthy.

The players back on the ranch met up on a football field to get ready for their next challenge. NFL MVP Kurt Warner showed up to lend a hand. Kurt gave the players a pep talk and told them anything is possible when you have determination and faith. The challenge's prize would be for immunity. Meaning, whoever won would guarantee to bring their partner's back to the ranch.

The players each had to run a football to the touchdown line and put their football in an opposing player's box. Once a player received five footballs in their box, they were eliminated from the challenge. It came down to Helen and Joelle, with Helen winning the challenge and immunity. She was happy because that guaranteed Shanon would be coming back on the ranch.

During the last-chance workout, Jillian was at her limits with Dan. Dan kept giving up and stopping during the assigned five-minute job on the treadmill. Meanwhile, Dan kept coming up with excuses on why he couldn't. Jillian wanted him to have that one achievement, so he could build off of it. Dan ran all five minutes as his teammates cheered him on.

This was a very important weigh in for the players on the ranch and they all knew that. This weigh in would determine who would be bringing their teammates back home and who would be going home to meet their teammates.

Before the weigh in began, Bob wanted to point out that Joelle knows she got a second chance, since she was below the yellow line the week before. He noticed a new Joelle on the ranch and thought his whole team noticed a change, as well.

Ali asked how Helen was doing since she knew she had immunity. Helen admitted that a month ago, when they made the decision to send her daughter home, she knew she had to be strong in order to bring Shanon back on the ranch. She said after winning immunity in this week's challenge, she proved to herself and her daughter that she was strong enough.

The players on the ranch were in for a surprise when their teammates showed up on the ranch for a brief reunion before the weigh in could begin. All the players on the ranch could not believe how great their at-home partners looked. Kristin described the entire scene as pure joy. Ali reminded the players that one team will be going home that night.

After the weigh in, the two youngest players, father and son duo, Mike and Ron and Orange teammate Dan found themselves below the yellow line. The rest of the players got emotional at the thought of any one of the guys leaving the ranch. Dan walked over to Ron and Mike and gave them a big hug telling them how much he loved them, no matter what happens in the elimination room.

Tara had a hard time with the fact that Dave admitted he didn't really want to be on the ranch. She told him that Dan had worked out constantly to bring his partner back and Dave seemed unappreciative. The votes were tied until Filipe was forced to cast the deciding vote, sending Dan and Dave home and keeping Ron and Mike on the ranch for another week.
