AceShowbiz - Dylan Minnette, known for his role in the Netflix series "13 Reasons Why", recently opened up about his decision to take a break from acting to pursue his passion for music with his band, Wallows.

In an interview on the "Zach Sang Show", Minnette explained that while he enjoyed the success he had achieved in acting, it started to feel like a routine job. "It was always fun and inspiring, but I felt it was just starting to feel like a job," he said.

Minnette expressed his deep desire to pursue music with Wallows, his bandmates Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston. "I'm in a position where I can dedicate myself fully to it," he said. "I want to take this as far as it can go and show the world how seriously we take it."

Music, Minnette explained, is what currently inspires him. "It's what feels natural," he said. However, he admitted to having thoughts about returning to acting, noting that he recently expressed his interest to his team, but it coincided with the actors' strike.

Despite his break from Hollywood, Minnette emphasized that his passion for acting remains strong. "I feel like I have something to give artistically in acting," he said. "At some point, after we complete our obligations with Wallows and decide to take a break, that's when I'll have the perfect inspiration to do something in acting."

Minnette's last acting appearances included the 2022 films Scream and The Dropout. While he continues to explore his music with Wallows, fans eagerly anticipate his return to the screen.
