AceShowbiz - Rubi Rose has apparently forgotten her ugly relationship drama with Lil Tjay. Nearly two years after she called him out for not buying her a plane ticket, she appeared to be back together with the rapper.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the Atlanta femcee recently posted a video of her cozying up to Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt. In the clip, she wore a revealing red lingerie underneath a white shirt while filming their reflection in the mirror as Tjay was standing behind her and wrapping his hand around her waist.
While the pair looked happy together, social media users were not into it. They savagely mocked Rubi for seemingly being drawn to toxic partners with one saying, "Ok I remember that rubi rose situation when it was something about her needing the n***a to get her a flight home. It was an embarrassment. Not they back together lmaoooo what's going on today."
Another similarly wrote, "Rubi rose weird asl…that boy played you and you got with your 'bestie' and you back with him??" A third dissed her, "Rubi rose fine as hell but dat woman got a brain the size of a grain of rice."
"Rubi rose way too pretty to be going out sad the way she do," a fourth user noted. Another echoed the sentiment, "Rubi Rose brain cells be playin double Dutch in her head when she make hard decisions."
A disappointed fan wrote, "@RubixxRose your literally losing your fans and your respect smh." One other person said, "Rubi rose is too much of a bad b***h for the constant humiliation I can't," as another added, "Somebody said rubi rose got a humiliation kink lmaoo."
Rubi and Tjay made headlines back in April 2020 when she called him out for not buying her a plane ticket after hooking up with him on his birthday. According to Tjay, Rubi called cops on him after he refused to pay for her flight back home.
Later in September, Rubi fumed after finding out her BFF Lala Baptiste hooked up with her former fling, Tjay. "Imma just let karma do what it do. Let's talk about backstabbing best friends," she tweeted at the time, dubbing Lala a "snake."
