During a court hearing ahead of his son's trial on child pornography charges, the '19 Kids and Counting' patriarch reveals that the 33-year-old reality star molested girls back in 2003.

AceShowbiz - Jim Bob Duggar has given his testimony at a hearing ahead of Josh Duggar's trial on child pornography charges he has been facing since two years ago. While testifying against his son, the "19 Kids and Counting" patriarch confessed that his son told him that he touched girls' breasts when he's 14 years old.

On Monday, November 29, the 56-year-old took issue with the prosecution bringing up InTouch obtaining the 2006 police report. "This was something for a young man to come forward," he said, insisting it was a "juvenile record" and a "sealed case."

"He had told me that he had touched some of the girls when they were sleeping on their breasts … they didn't wake up," said Jim, who clarified that he didn't remember what did Josh say. But, the Duggar patriarch said that he and his wife Michelle Duggar took action in their home after that and believed Josh had behaved inappropriately.

Jim also confirmed in his testimony that problems continued as saying, "There was, yes, an incident that he told us about after the first incident." He went on to say that there's an incident back in 2003 that made them send Josh from their home. "We tried to handle things in house," he stressed, adding, "It was a very difficult time in our family's life."

As for Josh, he insisted that he "had crossed some line right at that age of curiosity, at 14, your hormones are kicking in." On the stand, however, Jim admitted he couldn't recall many of the details.

When prosecutor Carly Marshall brought him the police report -- apparently still watermarked with InTouch's logo -- Jim went on to complain about the tabloid connection. "I'm not gonna allow it. Are you gonna allow for that?" he asked the judge with his hands raised as the judge reminded him, "If there is [an] objection to be made, someone will make it but it won't be you."

"For you guys to use a tabloid to bring it back up is very unprofessional," Jim fumed. The judge then offered some sympathy as saying, "Mr. Duggar, I recognize this is perhaps a very unfair position that you're placed in and I appreciate that," before pointing out, "This is not a debate."

Prior to Jim, Josh's best friend Bobye Holt also testified on the allegations that Josh touched minors in the early 2000s. "[Josh] explained that Jane Doe four was sitting on his lap during Bible time and he touched her inappropriately," Bobye said. "He said it happened that day. On that date, he told us that he touched her vaginal area."

Only later did she learn, Bobye said, that Josh touched the girl under her clothes. She also told the judge that Josh admitted to touching three other girls, each of them on their breasts and genitals. She added, "From when he told me … it started at [age] 12 until March 30, 2003."

Josh, however, has pleaded not guilty to the two child pornography counts and vowed to "fight back in the courtroom." His legal team said at the time, "In this country, no one can stop prosecutors from charging a crime. But when you're accused, you can fight back in the courtroom and that is exactly what Josh intends to do." But if convicted, he will face up to 20 years behind bars.
