The 'Jennifer's Body' actress clarifies her remarks about the former President of the United States following her encounter with the politician at a recent UFC fight in Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Megan Fox is walking back a comment she made about former U.S. leader Donald Trump after calling him "a legend" on a recent talk show appearance.

The "Jennifer's Body" star took to social media to explain the remarks she made about Trump to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" guest host Arsenio Hall.

The actress and her boyfriend, rap-rocker Machine Gun Kelly, attended the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier last weekend (10Jul21) in Las Vegas, and they happened to be seated near the ex-president.

"(Trump) had like 30 Secret Service with him. He was a legend. That arena was, like, very supportive of Trump when he came in," she told Hall on Tuesday (13Jul21).

After her remarks were interpreted as showing support for the controversial former leader, Fox clarified her position in an update on her Instagram Stories timeline. "Uhmmm... I do not align myself with any political party or individual politicians," she shared. "I never said Donald Trump is a legend. I said he was a legend... in that arena (key part of the sentence)."

"The arena was filled with UFC fight fans. Many of them clearly Republican based off the insane crowd reaction he received walking into the venue. That was an observable fact. Not my opinion (sic)."

She concluded her post with the quip, "Really loving this uneducated, mid-evil pitch fork carrying, burn a witch at the stake mentality though. The world needs more of that. (sic)"
