The 'Scorpion' star hits back at an Internet user who makes fun of her upcoming nuptials to the 69-year-old music producer.

AceShowbiz - Katharine McPhee shows no mercy to an Internet troll who makes fun of her relationship with David Foster. Nearing her wedding date, the "American Idol" alum dished on the preparation as she shared her problem with picking her bridesmaids.
"Picking your bridal party is like a real life MySpace top 8," she wrote on Twitter on Sunday, January 27. An Instagram user snarkily commented on Katharine's post, "Except MySpace lasted longer than this marriage ever will @jessicaleighleigh."
Refusing to stay quiet, the 34-year-old actress/singer clapped back at the said critic, "@whiittxo I'm assuming it also lasted longer than any relationship you ever had with a hairdresser?" Katharine appeared to poke fun at the Instagram user's hairstyle in her profile picture.

This isn't the first time Katherine responded to criticism of her relationship with David. Earlier this month, a Twitter user slammed the age gap between the couple. "Is anyone else totally disturbed by @katharinemcphee and her geriatric love? #daddyissues," the person tweeted.
Katharine jokingly responded, "Oh i LOVE that demi lovato song," referring to Demi Lovato's song "Daddy Issues". Her former "Smash" co-star Andy Mientus defended her as writing, "Imagine not appreciating a dzatty [sic]" along with a GIF of "Queer Eye" star Jonathan Van Ness saying the word "basic" repeatedly. The "Over It" singer replied, "IMAGINE A WORLD LIKE THAT."
Katharine and David, who first sparked dating rumors in May 2017, got engaged in summer of last year. Sharing her excitement, she recently shared a photo from her bridal dress fitting. "Wedding dress fittings today with @jordiefos! It was such a happy day. (It’s not the dress, but just wanted to share)," she wrote in the caption.
Katharine was previously married to Nick Cokas from 2008 until their split in 2014. Their divorce was finalized in 2016. As for David, he split from her fourth wife, Yolanda Hadid, in 2015. They don't have a child together.
