The country singer and his singer girlfriend reportedly have been discussing alternative ways to have children together because the former wants to have a child of his own.

AceShowbiz - Even though Blake Shelton bonds well with Gwen Stefani's children, he apparently still wants to share a children with his singer girlfriend. Rumor has it, the country singer and the No Doubt singer have been discussing ways to have children together.

"Mother's Day was rough for Blake Shelton. He loves being close to Gwen and the bond he shares with her kids, but the day is a sad reminder to him that he never had kids of his own," a source close to Blake tells HollywoodLife.com. "He loved celebrating with Gwen and her kids, but it is not the same for him, there is still a big piece missing in his life."

Despite previously being married to Miranda Lambert and Kaynette Williams, Blake never has a child of his own. But that doesn't mean he will give up hoping for one as he and Gwen allegedly "have begun to discuss alternative ways they could have children together." The source shares, "From surrogacy to adoptions, everything is viable option at this point. Gwen feels Blake is amazing to her boys and will make an amazing father to their own kids one day too."

Besides discussing ways to have children, Gwen and Blake spent Mother's Day by attending a mass at a church along with her children. Sporting a button-down shirt, a navy blue jacket and jeans, Blake was pictured carrying little Apollo who was dressed in a blue-and-white striped jumpsuit. Gwen, meanwhile, rocked a black jacket, a pair of black legging and leopard-print heeled boots as she held Zuma's hand.

Later in the day, the happy couple was spotted heading to Gwen's mom's house in Los Angeles for a get-together. While the "I Lived It" singer rocked the same outfit that he wore in the morning, the "Hollaback Girl" songstress teamed her denim overalls with a long-sleeve black turtleneck and sneakers.
