The sixty-second commercial features Dinklage bringing the heat with a verse of Busta Ryhmes' 'Look at Me Now' while Freeman keeps things chill with Missy Elliot's 'Get Your Freak On'.

AceShowbiz - After teasing it earlier this month, PepsiCo has finally unveiled its new Super Bowl ad featuring Morgan Freeman and "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage. The sixty-second ad features the two stars getting engaged in an epic rap battle with the help of Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes.

The commercial, created by Goodby Silverstein & Partners, begins with Dinklage bringing the heat as he delivers a scorching lip-sync rendition of Rhymes' "Look at Me Now". The clip then switches to show Freeman keeping things chill with an icy rendition of Elliot's "Get Your Freak On". Both rappers play figures of paintings. The hilarious video ends with Freeman and Dinklage facing each other.

Talking about lip-syncing to Elliot's verses, Freeman revealed to PEOPLE that it was a "very interesting and painless experience." The "Going in Style" star shared, "I never tried rapping before. If it came natural to me I think I would have made some money doing it. It didn't come naturally at all. Talking that fast and trying to be clear is difficult for someone like me who is used to talking slow."

Freeman also recalled that the practice was hard as he had to repeat the verse over and over again. "I had to do it pretty much all day to get it right," he continued. "You have to rehearse it and rehearse it and rehearse it and then do it for the different set ups, camera angles etc. So yeah, over and over. By the end of the day you pretty much got the lip sync down."

Super Bowl LII will take place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on February 4. Pink has been tapped to sing the National Anthem at the annual championship, while Leslie Odom Jr. is scheduled to belt out "America the Beautiful". Justin Timberlake, meanwhile, will headline the halftime show.
