The number is not very surprising, considering that earlier on, it was reported that the 55-year-old actor had made a reservation for pricey wing at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

AceShowbiz - George Clooney and Amal Clooney are reportedly spending more than $1 million to have a royal-like experience when Amal gives birth to their twins. The number is not very surprising, considering that earlier on, it was reported that the 55-year-old actor had made a reservation for the entire Kensington wing at London's Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. In addition, Naughty Gossip reports that "the entire staff of helpers will also be on call 24/7."

The hospital wing George has booked is said to cost up to $588,000 for a week's stay. Amal is also said to be flying in two "birth companions" from Los Angeles which cost $30,000 and an Italian masseuse who charges $5,000.

The couple is known to be generous with money. Early this month, George and Amal were reportedly giving their neighbors a £45,000 compensation package for the noise caused by the renovations to their estate. The package was said to include a holiday to Corfu, a six-week stay in a luxury hotel and a £30,000 lump sum. In addition, the Clooneys paid for their neighbors to rent a £780,000 cottage.

Recently, George was given an advice by Prince Albert of Monaco on raising twins. Prince Albert, who has twins himself, said that "George should pour himself a good cup of coffee each morning." The prince added, "I know that sounds pretty standard but it's really, really important." He later said that George would better get "some sleep stored away before the babies are born."
