Tom Ford's new movie "Nocturnal Animals" has got a teaser trailer ahead of its November 23 release in the U.S. It offers a sneak peek at the dark and gritty physiological thriller which centers on Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams as a divorced couple.

Adams plays an art gallery owner while Gyllenhaal is her ex-husband who works as a writer. When she receives a manuscript from him asking for her opinion on the book, she interprets his violent thriller story as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.

The movie has become a critic darling since screening at Venice International Film Festival. Ford's second feature film following his 2009 critically-acclaimed drama "A Single Man", it won Grand Jury Prize. Aaron Johnson, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher and Armie Hammer are among the cast members.
