The former Destiny's Child singer may also release her long-awaited joint effort with husband Jay-Z later this year.

AceShowbiz - Though it has never been officially confirmed, we all know that a new Beyonce Knowles album exists. While details of the highly-anticipated project are still scarce, a new report by HitsDailyDouble suggests that it is scheduled for release in April.

The still-untitled record will be Bey's last under her current deal with Sony Music. However, the site says that the singer is already close to inking a new worldwide, multi-album deal with the company, through which she has dropped all her solo albums since 2003's "Dangerously in Love".

The follow-up to 2013's "Beyonce" has so far been preceded by the Mike WiLL Made It-produced single "Formation", which Queen Bey performed live while joining Coldplay during the Super Bowl 50 earlier this month.

Recently, the 34-year-old diva's longtime stylist Ty Hunter revealed that he'd heard songs from the upcoming album and shared his opinion on them in a chat with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live". "I've heard the new album. It's beyond awesome, it's great," he said.

HitsDailyDouble additionally tells fans to look forward to another Beyonce project in 2016. The site claims that the collaborative effort with Jay-Z, which fans have heard about for more than a year now, will finally arrive sometime this year.
