The 'What Are You Waiting for' songstress has filed for divorce from her husband, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason of their split.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale are divorcing after 13 years of marriage. The former couple said in a joint statement on Monday, August 3, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."

According to TMZ, Gwen was the one who filed for divorce from Gavin. The "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce petition, seeking to end their union. Repped by attorney Scott Weston, Gwen is asking for joint custody for their three kids, 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma and 1-year-old Apollo. She has chosen to refuse Gavin's spousal support.

Gavin, meanwhile, is repped by Laura Wesser. He filed his response on the same day, also requesting joint custody. The petition and response were seemingly orchestrated to be filed simultaneously.

Sources tell the site that there's no prenup, so the couple's property and assets would likely be divided 50/50 under California laws. Gwen is reportedly worth around $80 million while Gavin is worth an estimated $35 million.
