The first picture from the upcoming boxing drama features Sly reprising his role as Rocky as he trains his protege in the ring.

AceShowbiz - The very first picture for "Rocky" spin-off "Creed" is revealed by Sylvester Stallone on Instagram. The photo shows "The Expendables" actor reprising his iconic role as he is training Michael B. Jordan's character in the ring.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie is scheduled to make its way out in theaters across the U.S. on November 25 this year. It follows Adonis Johnson, the son of world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who tracks Rocky Balboa down and asks him to be his mentor.

The upcoming flick is the seventh installment in the franchise. It comes nine years after the last "Rocky Balboa" in 2006. Besides reprising his role, Sly also served as a director in the last entry. He was joined by Milo Ventimiglia as his on-screen son.
