Harrison's son Ben Ford thanked fans on Twitter on Saturday, March 7 and said the 'Star Wars' actor had 'the best care possible.'

AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford's "on the mend" and remained hospitalized on Sunday, March 8 after he reportedly underwent surgery for broken ankle and pelvis. Harrison's publicist Ina Treciokas told ABC News that the "Star Wars" actor's injuries were non-life threatening.

Harrison's son Ben Ford took to Twitter on Saturday, March 7 to thank fans for their concern and give update about his father condition. Ben wrote, "We want thank you all for your concern. Dad has the best care possible, on the mend and of strong mind body & spirit." The posting has been deleted now for an unknown reason.

On Sunday, Ben shared an inspirational message to his followers, "Happy Sunday!!!!! Great day to love on the family. Join me by spreading a little extra love on those people most important to you."

In other news, Harrison's wife Calista Flockhart reportedly banned him from flying solo after the crash. A friend of Calista told Mirror, "Calista is devastated. Thank goodness Harrison is OK but it could have been much, much worse. It is a worry for her and his children that he has this dangerous hobby. But they appreciate he loves it, it's something he is very passionate about."

"Whether or not he will pilot a plane again remains to be seen but everyone around him certainly hopes he will take a break - or give it up for ever. It is -obviously a huge worry," the friend added.
