The former soccer player is said to be interested in the idea of finding her true love on 'The Bachelor'.

AceShowbiz - Judging from the reaction he got from audience during "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" taping, it's clear that Juan Pablo Galavis is fans' favorite among the men rejected by Desiree Hartsock. Now, rumor has it that the 31-year-old hunk is the top choice to be the star of "The Bachelor" season 18.

A source close to the show tells E! News that the Venezuelan-American former soccer player has been offered the gig and he's "definitely interested and will most likely accept." The source says, "Not only do women seem to love him, casting him will help soothe accusations the series doesn't include enough minorities," but notes that "nothing's been signed yet."

Desiree, who dumped Juan Pablo after dating the guys in Barcelona, Spain, agreed that he would be the right choice to be the next Bachelor. "Girls in America will love Juan Pablo. They would love to see him as the Bachelor, because I get that on my Twitter feed all the time," she gushed.

The father of one, however, was seemingly hesitant about being the next Bachelor and dating 25 women at once. "That's pretty tough. I saw Desiree, what she went through. I hate hurting people. I hate hurting girls. I hate looking at girls cry," he said after the "Men Tell All" taping. "It'll be very tough. I have a family, my daughter. Being away from her was very tough. It's going to be a very tough decision to make."
