'Knight of Cups' and 'Lawless' would be shot back to back this year, starring as well Christian Bale and Cathe Blanchett in both films.

New mom Natalie Portman is back to movie business full throttle. She has joined two Terrence Malick-directed movies, "Knight of Cups" and "Lawless", which will shoot this summer and fall respectively. These would be her first roles since winning the Best Actress nod at 2011 Academy Awards and taking maternity leave.
In "Cups", Portman will star opposite Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Isabel Lucas while in "Lawless", she joins Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Haley Bennett. The plot of the movies has been kept under wrap since their announcement in January last year. Bale and Blanchett are also stars in "Lawless", meaning Portman will meet them again in this film.
While both films are not Bale's first collaboration with Malick, this is Portman's first encounter with the director. Her addition is expected to create more buzz to the movies because both are being shopped around at EFM in Berlin this week.
