AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey's upcoming holiday album is indeed titled "Merry Christmas II You" and she has unwrapped it. The first look at the front page of the new CD is shared on her official website. Wearing Santa outfit, the 40-year-old singer is all smiles, kneeling next to a snowman.
A follow-up to Carey's 1994 "Merry Christmas", this album is slated for November 2 U.S. release. It lines up cover version of holiday classics such as "The First Noel", "Little Drummer Boy", "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and "O Come All Ye Faithful" as well as a remix of her 1994 hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You".
Moreover, four original songs composed by Carey, including a new single called "Oh Santa", are going to be included in the effort. The materials in the upcoming set are worked on with the help from "American Idol" 's judge Randy Jackson, certified producer Jermaine Dupri, award-winning composer Marc Shaiman and James Poyser (acclaimed music maker for Aretha Franklin, The Roots, Lauryn Hill and more).
