Lady GaGa dominates with five gongs, while Jonas Brothers, Beyonce Knowles and Taylor Swift follow with four nods each as this year's nominations for Teen Choice Awards are announced.

AceShowbiz - Music nominations for the 11th Annual Teen Choice Awards have been announced by FOX, and it is revealed that Lady GaGa leads the list. The dance queen receives five nods out of seventen categories in music.
GaGa gets nominations in such fields as Best Single for her smash hit "Poker Face", Best Hook Up for her collaboration with Colby O'Donis on single "Just Dance" and Best Album (Female Artist) for her debut effort "The Fame". On top of that, she is also among the contenders for Best Female Artist and Best Breakout Artist.
Following GaGa's domination with four gongs are Jonas Brothers, Beyonce Knowles and Taylor Swift. Among the four nominations they have got, the teen band and the two female singers are facing off each other in Best Love Song, in addition to competing against David Archuleta and Jesse McCartney.
Furthermore, it is announced that The CW's popular TV series "Gossip Girl" is up for Best Soundtrack alongside "Hannah Montana: The Movie", "High School Musical 3: Senior Year", "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" and "Twilight". Other nominee recipients include Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Lil Wayne, Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Kid Cudi, Asher Roth and many more.
2009 Teen Choice Awards will be conducted on August 10 and televised live on FOX. Beside honoring teenagers' favorites in music, it also recognizes the hottest teen icons in film, television and sports. Fans can log on to Teen Choice Awards 2009 to determine its winners. Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas are set to make a live performance and host the event. As for other musical guests as well as its presenters, announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
