Denying reports of her planning to hold a lavish second wedding, Salma Hayek insists "spending millions of dollars on a wedding" has never been her dream.

AceShowbiz - Contrary to earlier report, Salma Hayek has no plan to throw a lavish second wedding ceremony. Putting to rest mounting reports of her and husband Francois-Henri Pinault planning to host a $2 million second wedding celebration at the end of this month, the actress and mother of one daughter tells People, "I would never do that."

"I think spending millions of dollars on a wedding is ridiculous and it has never been my dream," she continues telling People. "I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun," Hayek concludes.

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault made their union official in a private wedding ceremony held in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in central Paris on February 14, 2009. They are parents to one daughter, named Valentina Paloma Pinault, who was born in September 2007.

On Tuesday, April 14, Radar Online made public an exclusive report claiming Hayek planned to throw "the wedding party of her wildest dreams, and she's thrilled to death." She and Pinault were said to have offered all-expense paid invitation to famous friends.

"The party will be decorated with roomfuls of bouquets of red and white roses. And this won't be a typical wedding celebration -- The event will kick off April 24th and go straight through the whole weekend," a source told Radar Online. "The final wedding bill will likely top $2 million. Extravagant doesn't begin to describe what Salma is cooking up," added the source.

Debunking report of her planning a costly second wedding celebration, Hayek however doesn't mention if she would still stage another affair for friends and family who couldn't attend her first nuptials.
