Aug 10, 2009When I saw this movie in November I hadn't read any of the Twilight Books, so it was kind of confusing at first. I really liked that Jessica described each character as they walked into the cafeteria; it really made the story easier to understand if you hadn't read the books. They did a good job at keeping the book and movie alike without copying the whole story. I can't wait for New Moon to premiere!

Apr 06, 2009I found at some points hard to watch the film and my friend had to tell me to be quiet throughout as I constantly critized it's unfaithfulness to the best selling book for which it's based on. There are some really good points about the film, like the relationship between bells and her father,Charlie is well acted out and the characters, billy and Jacob black were well selected. Also the set was almost exactly like the one i had imagined when I read the book. However, I don't wish to offend Kirsten Stewart but she didn't remind of Bella in her features nor in the way she acted out her role as she is the main character (or one of them) I think that this is important. The book was chopped and changed a lot and I know it says it's based on but I don't think you can really go wrong with a best selling book which I frankly love. The soundtrack for most songs was pretty good but I have since heard some songs which could replace those, one I heard in H&M but have not been able to find the name of, another was on friends itunes which I am yet to find out. One probably less important feature the vampires weren't white enough and didn't look as though described on the book. Robert Pattinson did a good job of Edward and seems to be looking the part as he now has many female admirers. The rest of the Cullen family also seemed to fit their role well. However the relationship between bella and edward wasn't as well acted out as one would like. There seemed to many plot holes and much missed out on which the film didn't leave up to compared to the thrilling trailor. I guess it will be added to the list of filmswhich could not live up to the book like Eragon and Wuthering heights. I don't believe I'm being to harsh but I do hope them all the best for New Moon but I think if they want to join the list of good books and films which do each other justice such as Atonement and Lord of the Rings then they should let Stephanie Meyer and her biggest fans have a bigger input, I will expect better as they should have a bigger budget from the success of twilight.

Mar 09, 2009i really don't get why everyone "LOVES" rob (edward) i mean he's okay but i think that TAYLOR LAUTNER is so much CUTER and his body is so much better and unlike robert, TAYLOR doesn't go around partying like rob, he's calm and sweet. Maybe he's mean in the books but thats just a character believe me i've read the books at least 5 times.Plus that new haircut rob got sometime ago didn't really help......i've seen picures of TAYLOR for the NEW MOON and he's SMOKING HOT!!! P.S. Twilight is a good movie but i think that they should have left the blood type chapter in the movie it would have been better (I LOVE TAYLOR!!!!)

I can't wait to see it again and to see New Moon! So far new moon is the best book I have read. I'm on the 3rd book. Its good to but New Moon is my favourite! When I read the book I could not put it down. When I read the book New Moon I pictured myself in Edward and Bella's place. Imaging that I was one of the main charactors! Love it!!!!!! <3 I can't wait to read the 5th book and to see the movies come to action!

Both in the film as in the books I could really feel the love obsession of them both... It's quite remarkable, that a love so fragile can be so powerful. Well for me it is worth a 5 Star!

Gym class was the last class of the school day in the book, but they made it the second or third class of the day, then in the book Alice has black hair, not brown. These were very small flaws, i bet somewhere across the U.S.A someone is pissed about 'em!!! but anyway i loved the movie and the series, and im really looking forward to Midnight Sun!!!!!!!!!

Twilight tells a bout a normal 17 year old girl named Bella Swan who moves in with her cop dad charlie. She meets Edward Cullens and they both fall in love and have suspenseful dangers ahead with enemy vampires. It's also an amazing book!

Jan 01, 2009this movie was brought to life. i don't think robert pattison brought the edward i saw in the book. but then again i thought i did. but too many people are like so obsessed with edward/robert. so im going team jacob now. taylor lautner better be in new moon!!! my fav book is prob. new moon, i kinda like it when bella is in pain and jacob saves her. and my fav. vampire(s) are JASPER!,ALICE!,EDWARD!,and CARLISLE. i don't care for rosalie she acts so ughh in the books, but in the movie i love nikki reed, i thought all of the actors did really good. but my fav. scene was the baseball scene. and i love jackson rathbone soo much.. the thing about the movie tht i was glad about, they brought people who weren't really tht famous and put them on the big screen, and i really loved that.

The book was definitely better, but my expectations for the movie weren't very high, so I was impressed. But the only thing I hate about this movie are the stupid little fans that think it's reality and are "addicted" to it and see it 10x. The teeny bopper fans are the only things that ruin the TWILIGHT experience.

Dec 16, 2008my god robert pattinson is amazing. he was defintiely made for this role and looks incredibely like a vampire. His actions, voice, facial expressions and his all over being was made for this role. Although he was the only part of the movie i liked. i was really disapponted at the way the movie was twisted and turned and the added parts which had nothing to do with the book. the movie could of gone on for a bit longer. the first half of the book was summed up in like 5 mins. i think bella could of done a better job or someone else should of played her. however thanks to rob his what made us so addicted to twilight. His going to be soo famous now and his career a success.

Dec 11, 2008this movie was absolutey AMAZING! its the best movie i have ever seen, as the best book. i cried two times while watchin it in theaters because it was so good. then i cried on my way home because i wanted to see it again! good work, it's fantastic. though, the movie rushed through parts, it should've been longer about 2hrs or so. its great. i love it. and i literally CANT wait til it comes out on DVD! HURRY UP BRING IT OUT!!!!!!!

Dec 04, 2008First book that kinna made by teenage feelings resurface after years of work washing away my feeling as a normal teenage...so much thanks to Stephanie and her two main twilight character, you made my heart beat again so to speak.. The movie is all good as well, good casting, especially Kristen as Bella, Rob as Edward and Ashley as Alice (my personal fave) and of course Dr. Carlisle and Esme look good together. All in all fantastic movie.

Nov 30, 2008This movie is like freakin' awesome. They couldve put more scenes in it, but still, it was great. Reasons to love Edward and not Jacob: 1. Jacob doesn't sparkle. 2. Edward is rich. 3. Edward is a vampire, and can love you forever. 4. Jacob is a stupid hairy wolf. And lots of more reasons. But, I have to say the ending was horrible. Not as in 'it sucked' , but that now we have to wait awhile to see New Moon top find out what Victoria does!

Nov 27, 2008i thought it was ok. like it followed at some parts but somethings happened at wrong place wrong time. i also think they should of made it longer, like as long as theres a hot guy on the screen, i could sit there and watch it for hours no joke lol. and the guy that played edward was cute but i think alex pettyfer is cuter and would have made a better edward but the other guy was good otherwise. and Emmet (Kellan Lutz) was absolutly adorable. all in all, its a really good movie and you should ttly see it if you havent yet :]

Nov 24, 2008I enjoyed reading the book and was looking forward to the movie. The movie was brainless entertainment with lots of eye-candy. Yes, Edward is HOT! However, the movie is a very shallow adaption of the book that was obviously rushed. The danger of having a boyfriend who is a vampire is never really felt. The relationship between Edward and Bella is what the movie focuses on and does a good job. I am wondering just how many of the giigling little girls in the movie theatre actually bothered to pick up the book and read the entire thing. They would find that it is sooo much better. The movie is entertaining, but misses a lot.

Nov 22, 2008i came into this movie as a HUGE fan of the series, expecting to be totally let down by the movie, and i was wrong. the first thirty minutes or so of the movie were not the best. but as it got closer to the end, i was on the edge of my seat with my heart beating out of my chest. although the plot moved too fast for my liking and kristen stewart's acting was a bit cold, it was all made up by the incredible chemistry and great footage. this movie was overall, amazing. i came in thinking they chose the completely wrong person to play edward and i though rob pattinson was ugly. now i think he did a GREAT job, was a perfect edward, and i have a giant crush on him now. ;)

I admit that I was disappointed at first when they chose Robert Pattinson but the longer I looked at his pictures and the movie trailer, I get to appreciate him more. I think he will play Eduard Cullen's part well. I cant wait for Nov 21!!!!!

Oct 31, 2008omg i flippen love twilighttt. i started reading it like... a year ago and i still reread them over and over and over again. i never want to read another series again just because it was wayyy too good to compare to anything else. i even have a humongous twilight poster hanging in my rom<3 stephanie meyer has got to be the most amazing author of all tiiiime<3 im a little disapointed by the bellas lullaby i heard though :/ the version i heard was so lame. but whatever this movies gonna be absolutely amazing<3 robert pattinson and kristen stewart are perfectttt<3 im so throwing a partyyyyy :D

Oct 07, 2008I love the book and I love the fact that they are making a movie. I think that they could have better people to play the roles. Edward yes is cute as many say, but based on the book he's close to perfect. He's absolutely divine and a hard character to live up to. I have also seen bits and parts of the movie already, and I guess they have some parts correctly, but some parts aren't calculated right and I'm afraid I'm disappointed a bit....Also I read the songs they have for the sounndtrack, I want to know why the songs are different than the ones posted on stephanie meyers site? Or am I missing something, guess my head is still in the clouds........

Oct 03, 2008i love the books as any fan does, and am so excited because the movie seems to be pretty close from what i've seen. i do agree that the casting isn't great..i cannot stand the actress who's playing esme, she's all wrong. and rosalie isn't great and neither is alice..they could have done better. edward looks pretty close to what i would have pictured though.

With a special character involved, it just seems kind of difficult. (If you haven't read Breaking Dawn then you wouldn't know who I'm talking about but if you have you should know.)
