Martha Pinson's direction is bland and functional; even though they wrote the dialogue, the male leads struggle to deliver the lines with much conviction, making this a bit like a vanity project that's not even that flattering
"Tomorrow" has too much going on both plot-wise and thematically but gets by on good performances, a sensitive, informed look at oft-ignored issues and a heart firmly in the right place
