The film, finally, appeared in Hungary too and I enjoyed it very much. It was very well acted, beautifully photographed. I prefered fist of all Ralph Fiennes' sad and unrecognizable Magwitch and Helena Bonham Carter's unhappy terrible Mrs. Havisham. I never could imagine Mr. Fiennes as a very-very primitive unfortunate ever-looser man, a criminal against his will, whose only
desire is to meet the child who helped him to escape gave him to eat and he loved him as his own child and by helping him to be a gentleman realized his own obsession. Fiennes was charismatic in the part!
