Disney's "Descendants 2" is an upcoming American musical fantasy television film set to premiere on Disney Channel in the summer of 2017. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the film is a sequel to the 2015 film "Descendants," and stars Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Mitchell Hope, and China Anne McClain. The film follows the teenage children of Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella de Vil, and the Evil Queen as they return to the Isle of the Lost, the home of their banished parents, to retrieve a magical object that can save them from their impending doom.
