The Black Prince is a 2017 Indian biographical drama film about Duleep Singh, the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire. The film is directed by Kavi Raz and stars Satinder Sartaaj as Duleep Singh. The film chronicles the life of Duleep Singh, who was born in 1838 and became the Maharaja of the Sikh Empire at the age of five. After the British annexed the Sikh Empire in 1849, Duleep Singh was exiled to England, where he lived for the rest of his life. The film follows Duleep Singh's struggle to regain his kingdom and his efforts to preserve his Sikh heritage.
