American Grit is an American reality competition television series that premiered on May 12, 2015, on Fox. The series is hosted by John Cena and follows 16 contestants as they compete in a series of physical and mental challenges in the wilderness of California. The contestants are divided into four teams of four, each led by a former military or law enforcement officer. The teams compete for a $250,000 prize. The series was created by Mark Burnett and is produced by MGM Television.
