Fresh Off the Boat is an American sitcom television series created by Nahnatchka Khan that premiered on ABC on February 4, 2015. The series is loosely based on the life of chef and food personality Eddie Huang, and follows a Taiwanese family who moves from Chinatown in Washington, D.C. to Orlando, Florida. In the preview for episode 3.23, "The Shunning," the Huangs are dealing with the fallout from Louis's (Randall Park) decision to move out. Jessica (Constance Wu) is angry and hurt, and she's taking it out on her family. Eddie (Hudson Yang) and Evan (Ian Chen) are trying to stay out of the way, but they're starting to get worried about their parents.
