"The Son" is an American drama television series that premiered on August 27, 2017, on AMC. The series is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Philipp Meyer. The show follows the story of Eli McCullough (Pierce Brosnan), a former slave who becomes a wealthy rancher in Texas after the Civil War.
