In the upcoming episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," titled "Mama," the detectives investigate a gruesome murder that occurs in a high-end residential building. The victim is Anya, a Russian immigrant who recently moved in with her 5-year-old daughter. When detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Rollins (Kelli Giddish) arrive on the scene, they discover that Anya was brutally killed in her own apartment. The detectives are baffled by the lack of evidence, and soon realize that the killer must have known Anya personally. As they investigate, they uncover a web of secrets and lies that lead them to a shocking revelation about the victim's past.
