Switched at Birth is an American drama television series that aired on ABC Family from June 6, 2011, to March 11, 2017. The series follows Bay Kennish and Daphne Vasquez, two teenagers who discover they were switched at birth and have been living in each other's families. The series premiered on June 6, 2011, and was met with positive reviews. It was renewed for a second season in August 2011, and has since been renewed for five more seasons. The fifth season premiered on January 24, 2016. The series stars Katie Leclerc, Vanessa Marano, Constance Marie, and D.W. Moffett.
