The Expanse 2.05 (Preview) is an upcoming episode of the science fiction television series The Expanse. The episode is directed by Salli Richardson-Whitfield and written by Naren Shankar. It will air on Syfy on February 22, 2017. The episode will feature the crew of the Rocinante as they continue their mission to find the Protomolecule and stop it from destroying the solar system. They will also come into conflict with a new enemy, the OPA, a group of space pirates who are also interested in the Protomolecule.
