"New Girl" is an American comedy television series created by Elizabeth Meriwether that premiered on Fox on September 20, 2011. The first five seasons of the series revolved around roommates Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel), Nick Miller (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris), and Cece Parekh (Hannah Simone). The sixth season focuses on Jess's relationship with her new boyfriend Ryan, and Nick's relationship with his new girlfriend Reagan.
