The Middle is an American television sitcom created by Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline that aired on ABC from September 30, 2009, to May 22, 2018. The series follows the Heck family, a working-class family living in Orson, Indiana. The promo 'Moves to Tuesday' was released on May 12, 2017, and announces that the show will be moving to Tuesdays for its eighth season.
