In a preview clip from "BrainDead" Season 1, Episode 9, "The Power of Euphemism," Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Gareth (Aaron Tveit) investigate the sudden deaths of several Washington D.C. politicians. As they uncover a possible conspiracy, they realize that the city is being overrun by a horde of flesh-eating aliens. With the help of their allies, including Luke Kirby's Dr. Dakin, Laurel and Gareth race against time to find a way to stop the aliens and save the city.
