In this clip from The Fundamentals of Caring, Ben (Paul Rudd) and Trevor (Craig Roberts) pick up a hitchhiker named Dot (Selena Gomez). Dot is a young woman with Down syndrome who is trying to get to her sister's house. Ben and Trevor are hesitant to let her in the car at first, but they eventually agree. As they drive, Dot tells them about her life and her dreams. Ben and Trevor are both touched by her story, and they begin to see her as more than just a hitchhiker.
