Helen is beautiful, intelligent and seems to have it all. Happily married to David, she enjoys a loving relationship with her teenage daughter from a previous marriage, and teaches at the local university. Yet Helen is hiding a secret which gradually penetrates the very fabric of her well-being. David loves and supports her unconditionally, but at times she becomes inaccessible and withdrawn.
