Religious Group Criticizes Jay Leno for Bashing Catholic Teachings
January 25, 2012 01:01:19Jay Leno is under attack by Catholic League after joking about a bishop who recently confessed to fathering children. The host poked fun at the church's teachings during his monologue on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" airing on Monday, January 23, which was actually a rerun of a January 5 episode.
"There are those who will say, sure, Leno was tough on the bishop, but what do you expect from a late-night talk show host? After all, had there been no wrongdoing, there would have been no wise crack," the group's president Bill Donohue said before adding, "This view is seriously mistaken."

November 11, 2011 02:11:10Jay Leno has spoofed a live-action promo of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" video game while taking a jab at late-night show host rival, David Letterman. In the parodied commercial shown during his "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" monolog, Leno takes over the role of the Noob which is originally portrayed by Jonah Hill.
Joining forces with Sam Worthington who plays the Vet, Leno is engaged in an action-packed scene on a street which seemingly has been wrecked in a massive battle. After being amazed by the "Avatar" actor's ability to dodge a missile, the 61-year-old host shows off his own skill and finishes off the war by launching a rocket to Ed Sullivan Theater where "Late Show with David Letterman" is usually filmed.

"When they call action, it doesn't matter how times they say look, watch this, be careful with this, don't hit him in the face - Chris Hemsworth - which I did," she began sharing the story from the set of her forthcoming movie. "Thor? You hit Thor in the face?," Leno, who looked surprise, asked her if she really hit the hunky actor who plays the titular character in Marvel's film, "Thor".

Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will promote the latest installment of Stephenie Meyer's novel-adapted film franchise on Jay Leno's late-night show on November 2 and 3 respectively, Gossip Cop has confirmed. There is still no word whether they will bring a new sneak peek from "Breaking Dawn Part I" to the show.

The host's satirical joke, in which he tried to compare the Florida jury to President Obama's economic team, bombed when he delivered it during his monologue on Tuesday night, July 5.
"It was so hot today, people were as delirious and incoherent as a Florida jury," he said to begin the Casey joke, which was responded with a clap from the audience. He went on saying, "This [verdict] means President Obama's economic team is only the second most clueless group of people in America."

Robert Pattinson to Appear on 'Jay Leno'
June 03, 2010 11:06:58The "Twilight" team has picked "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" to promote the third installment of the movie series, "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". It has come to knowledge that Robert Pattinson is scheduled to have a talk with Jay Leno on June 15, two weeks away from the film's release in the U.S.
Leno has not confirmed the appearance but a source did to Gossip Cop. It is still unclear whether Pattinson would be solo or accompanied by his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. But these two have done their part in supporting the movie by attending a meet and greet in Sydney, Australia earlier this week.

First Guests List of 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno' 2.0
February 23, 2010 10:02:05The first guests of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" have been announced and it looks like Jay Leno has enough fuel to win back his audience. The talk show which was previously Conan O'Brien's hosting vehicle before Leno wants the 11.35 slot back, is set to make a return on March 1 with Jamie Foxx on the couch.
Foxx will not be the only guest on the premiere since Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn will also be in attendance along with musical performer Brad Paisley. In the next few days within the first week, there would be the cast of "Jersey Shore", Sarah Palin and Avril Lavigne among others. In the second week, visits come from Simon Cowell who at the time of writing is slated to appear solo and Kristen Stewart who will be preceded by Joan Jett's performance the night before.

Through his official site, the singer posted on "Upcoming Appearance" the announcement that he will be performing "Music Again" when the show returns to its old clock.
Adam is scheduled for the Tuesday, March 2 episode, meaning he would be the second guest on the revamped version of the late night talk show. Jamie Foxx had been revealed as the first guest. However, NBC has remained secretive in confirming who will be Leno's guests although the premiere date is approaching.

The little incident has since become overrated with some media outlets reporting she was probably drunk during the appearance. Carey has had difficulty since the very first second she came to the stage. Taking an effort to look down in the first almost-fall, she was ignorant of the next step to greet the studio audience. Nevertheless, Carey took it lightly and joked that she did it on purpose to keep Jay Leno from being nervous.

May 30, 2009 11:05:22Friday, May 29 marked the end of Jay Leno's 17-year run as the host of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". On his final episode, Leno kicked it off by thanking all the people "who made it possible", and that include the personalities who have provided him with materials to talk about such as Monica Lewinsky, Bill Clinton, and Michael Jackson.
Upon entering the stage, Leno was welcomed with a long-standing ovation. Then he made some jokes related to his departure from the show, as well as the move to 10 P.M. slot. "I'm going to be going to a secluded spot where no one can find me - NBC prime time," Leno said. "It's a gamble. I'm betting NBC will still be around in three months, but that's not a given." He added that he had cleaned out his office, and found O.J. Simpson's knife. "I had it the whole time!" he joked.

March 17, 2009 01:03:30"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" will welcome a very special guest on Thursday, March 19. The 44th U.S. President Barack Obama has agreed to a sit-in at the talk show to discuss the country's affairs including his economic plan and "other topics", NBC confirmed.
The sit-down is part of Obama's visit to Southern California on that day. He will stop by the NBC Burbank studio in Los Angeles and talk in front of live audience in the afternoon before heading back to Washington. This consequently will be the first in American history for an on-duty U.S. president to come by a late-night chat show, and the first for Obama to make such appearance since his election last year.
