'Samantha Who?' Not Returning Until Spring
January 22, 2009 11:01:09A change of plan has been conducted by FOX, particularly on their two primetime shows, "Samantha Who?" and "Hole in the Wall". The former which is a comedy starring Christina Applegate, is bumped to Spring schedule to make room for "The Bachelor" which is aired in two-hour editions.
"Samantha" was originally intended to continue its second season on January 12 but it was postponed to January 19 before pushed again a week later and finally put in the Spring slot. "The Bachelor" is gaining momentum with its 13th season and will wrap up on March 2. Its numbers have been steadily increasing, starting with 8.7 million viewers to 9.9 million on Monday, January 19.

Billy Zane Hired as Sam's Ex on 'Samantha Who?'
December 20, 2008 10:12:09It was reported earlier this month that there will be a re-casting on "Samantha Who?" for the role of Sam's ex, Funk, and apparently execs have found the new guy. If the character was previously known to be played by Timothy Olyphant, the role now belongs to Billy Zane.
EW's Michael Ausiello revealed sources confirmed to him, that producers of the show starring Christina Applegate as Samantha, have replaced Olyphant with the "Titanic" star. This was reasoned as a scheduling conflict because when it was decided that Funk is brought back on the script, Olyphant had already committed himself to FX's "Damages".

Additional Episodes of 'Samantha Who?' in the Work
November 01, 2008 01:11:12ABC have announced their plan to develop additional episodes for Christina Applegate-starring comedy series, "Samantha Who?". Instead of bringing the full-season orders which are usually comprised of 22 episodes, ABC, on the other hand, plot only seven more installments, bringing it to only 20 episodes.
Concerning the issue, ABC said that the inventory of other sitcoms, including "Scrubs", "According to Jim", "The Goode Family", "Better Off Ted", and "Single With Parents" need "Samantha" to be shortened from its original full orders.

Preview of 'Samantha Who?' 2.01: So I Think I Can Dance
September 25, 2008 10:09:06A piece of the new season of ABC's "Samantha Who?" has been previewed through a promotional clip. The second season will enter with an episode called "So I Think I Can Dance" on Monday, October 13.
Apt to its episode title, Samantha assisted by her mother, will join a dance competition in order to beat Regina's enemy, Paula Drake, an infamous character played by Cybill Shepherd. Sam, before the amnesia was a keen dancer, but the "new" her is unable to keep up with the pace. Meanwhile, Sam is also moving from her parent's house to her old place, but her ex Todd is having trouble finding his own apartment.
