'Rizzoli and Isles' 3.06 Preview: Mask Party and Maura's Shocking Past

A rich financier is found stuffed in a trashcan wearing a cloak and mask, forcing Jane to blend with partygoers in a mask party to figure out what happened. The killer, however, has claimed another victim before the detective is able to catch him/her.
While helping Jane to solve the murder case, Maura deals with her personal issue. She is on the verge of sharing her secret with her biological mother Dr. Hope Davis (Sharon Lawrence) as she makes a deeper connection with Hope and her half-sister, who still don't know that Maura is related to them.

Talking about the scene which sees the former [SPOILER ALERT!] shooting the latter's estranged father and FBI's most wanted, Paddy Doyle, executive producer Janet Tamaro admits that she "wanted to leave them at odds with each other."
While Jane and Maura's dynamic helps solve the cases on the crime series, their partnership is now tested with the latest incident in the season finale. Claiming that it won't be easy for the two girls, Janet says that Jane and Maura still "have to work together" in the upcoming season.

Her old nemesis Charles Hoyt returns, but he is now less harmful since he is stricken with cancer and looks weak while lying on a hospital bed in a preview to the upcoming episode.
Hoyt, however, will enter Jane's life again after claiming to have clues about the murder of a man killed in a jail bathroom on the eve of his release. "I have so much to tell you Jane," the serial killer tells the female detective.

TNT Announces Return Dates of 'Rizzoli and Isles', 'Leverage' and Other Shows
August 24, 2011 09:08:22TNT has unveiled when viewers can watch the return of their favorite series in winter. "The Closer" will return with the second part of its seventh season on Monday, November 28, at 9 P.M. ET/PT. An hour later, "Rizzoli & Isles" will be back with the remaining 5 episodes of its sophomore season.
The day before, "Leverage" will resume airing eight new episodes from season 4. Meanwhile, "Southland" will debut its season 4 which consists of 10 episodes on January 17, 2012, at 10 P.M. ET/PT.
