'Raising Hope' Cast Thanks Fans After Cancellation Announcement

"" is coming to an end. FOX has decided not to renew the comedy, making the current fourth season as the last season as well. The show will close the curtain on Friday, April 4 at 9 P.M. with an hour-long series finale.

After the cancellation was made official, star took to Twitter to thank fans, cast mates and crew members. "Thanks for watching! Thanks to the writers, directors, cast mates + fans who made it possible. Goodbye, Jimmy," he wrote on Monday, March 10.

'Raising Hope' Taps Chris Klein for a Guest Starring Role

"" is packing on the guest stars this coming season. "American Pie" star has signed up for a guest role on the FOX comedy, playing a local celebrity realtor named Brad.

Per THR, Burt and Virginia Chance introduced Brad to their son Jimmy as his "almost" long-lost older brother. Third season begins Tuesday, October 2 at 8 P.M. Klein is set to appear in one episode only so far.

Teasing fans of her upcoming appearance, the estranged wife of has tweeted a picture showing her in an officer uniform, and Shannon Woodward's Sabrina donning a prison garb. "@shannonwoodward, I hope I don't get type-cast," she wrote in a caption of the photo.

Good news and bad news came for two different new shows at the same time. While "" receives more episodes order from FOX and officially becomes the first freshman to get full season this Fall, "" has to swallow bitter pill as NBC has ordered to stop its production temporarily for a close observation on the rating.

FOX is giving "Raising Hope" faith by ordering back-nine episodes. Rating-wise the dramedy created by Greg Garcia is steadily gaining followers although it has the advantage of a lead-in from "". Now, "" which airs after "Hope" is not taking the same graphic flow and thus its position is in jeopardy.
