'Orphan Black' Boss Teases 'Lighter' Episode After 'Big' Loss

"" just suffered a great loss as one of the characters made a big sacrifice in the latest episode. [SPOILER ALERT!] Paul (Dylan Bruce), who tried to shut down Project Castor but got double-crossed by his friends at the government, blew up the Castor facility with a grenade after a fight against the male clones, sacrificing himself and saving Sarah ().

"This is about as excited as I've been for an episode of the show to air," co-creator John Fawcett tells The Hollywood Reporter of "Certain Agony of the Battlefield". "It's a really big, epic thing. It's what [co-creator Graeme Manson] and I really wanted to see. We wanted this to be a midseason climax."

BBC America has unveiled the first full trailer for "" season 3 for fans' viewing pleasure. The latest sneak peek video teases what's coming next on the hit series, revealing a new problem that Sarah and her clone sisters will face.

"These guys are not my problem," Sarah says after meeting one of the male clones, but Delphine says, "I'm sorry, they are." Meanwhile, Mrs. S may have made a bad decision by taking part in Helena's kidnapping as Sarah yells at her foster mother, "That's not your bloody decision!"

BBC America has unleashed more sneak peeks for "" season 3. One of the new videos shares an extended scene from the first episode of the upcoming season. In the clip, Sarah is talking to her foster brother Felix and Alison on the phone.

After Alison hungs up the phone to protest at a foul during a kids' soccer match, Felix tells Sarah that Cosima, who is home with him, is fine. Cosima, meanwhile, asks Felix to tell Sarah that Helena hasn't come back and this news somehow bothers Sarah.

BBC America has released the first teaser for "" season 3 to tide fans over the show's return. It has no footage from the new season, showing organic cells undergoing the process of mitosis.

The video is set to the tune of Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me", which parts of its lyrics perhaps reflect the opinion of 's Sarah Manning and her clone sisters. The teaser name drops "clone club" at the end of it.

"" will see a third season. BBC America has renewed its drama hit for another 10-episode run that begins in spring 2015. Production of the new season will kick off in Toronto this September.

BBC America general manager Perry Simon announced the renewal at Wednesday, July 9 Television Critics Association press tour at the Beverly Hilton. According to the network, the second season of "Orphan Black" was "the first ever ad-supported drama series to double its ratings from season one to season two in A25-54 and 18-49 in Live+7." The finale hit a series high with 1.376 million viewers.
