'Nip/Tuck' Final 9 Episodes Given a Preview

"Nip/Tuck" wound down its Fall run on Wednesday, December 16, and to keep fans excited, FX has released the promo of the last nine episodes that will begin airing on January 6. The footage shows the first look of Joan Rivers as an entertainment reporter and the first hint of Christian's murder plot.

The synopsis released on the official site states "When Sean and Christian win a prestigious award from their alma mater, Sean recalls their college years and endures past pains. A new patient who self-mutilates due to a genetic disorder comes to McNamara/Troy for reconstructive surgery." Beyond that the nine episodes will offer something deeper like Sean's sexual move to Kimber, Escobar intriguing Sean to kill his partner and Christian running himself to a wall.

The upcoming season of "Nip/Tuck" will not only boast a guest performance by Gilles Marini but also the return of its obsessed transsexual, Ava Moore. Famke Janssen who portrays the character, has signed a deal to reprise the role for season 6 which also serves as the conclusion to the whole drama series.

"Just finished the last script today - the 100th episode," one of the series' creators Ryan Murphy wrote on the show's online fan forum. "The end. Very strange. But I thought I would confirm something here on the forum, since you've all been so great and loyal: Ava Moore (Famke!) returns for the final two episodes."

Melanie Griffith Tucked Into 'Nip/Tuck' as Kimber's Mom

There will be a new face in "Nip/Tuck" who stands in as Kimber's mother. TV Guide reported that Melanie Griffith has been cast as Brandie, the character which is described as "beautiful and considerate" and will visit her daughter from Wisconsin.

Brandie won't come alone as she is accompanied by he "too-tan", on and off boyfriend of six years, Les. "Queer as Folk" star Robin Thomas will fill in the role of Les, who creates a friction between him and Christian as a result of his treatment of Brandie.

AnnaLynne McCord will return for more Eden Lord on "Nip/Tuck", the starlet confirms to TV Guide. She will be back as her the nasty little vixen when the FX Network show enters a new chapter on January 27 with episode "Roxy St. James".

Eden Lord had her first run in the show back in the fall season of 2007 where she wanted the surgeons to restore her virginity. But her character develops to be one who messed up with Sean's life and causeed a change in attitude for both Annie and Julia.

'Nip/Tuck' Stars Seeking for Salary Raises

As "Nip/Tuck" is heading to its sixth and final season, the cast regulars on the FX medical drama series fall in a serious negotiation with the producers for weeks. According to reports, the series' stars, including Julian McMahon, Dylan Walsh, Joely Richardson, Kelly Carlson and Roma Maffia, are looking to get a substantial raise from their current salary.

Through the negotiations, McMahon and Dylan Walsh are expecting to double up their paycheck from $125,000 per episode to $250,000, while Richardson and the others quest to get raises on their incomes. The stars ground their reason on the difficulty they may be facing in landing new gigs in the next few years due to the fact that the series will be aired until 2011.
