October 28, 2009 03:10:53The double dose of crime-solving drama on CBS has unleashed the trailers for their November 3 episodes. On "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" Gibbs' career is in jeopardy with the arrival of an old friend while on "NCIS: Los Angeles" Callen and Hanna get "hell of a case".
In "Outlaws And In-Laws", a murder investigation prompts Gibbs and the team to play family counselor to his former mentor, Mike Franks, in the hopes of preventing a bloody international conflict. Muse Watson reprises his role as Franks and Robert Patrick guest stars as First Defense COO Colonel Merton Bell.

In "Good Cop, Bad Cop", the investigation of a Marine's death on foreign soil forces Ziva to confront her past. Last week Ziva announced that she wanted to quit Mossad in order to join NCIS as real and true agent.

Pauley Perrette's Abby to Make a Cameo on 'NCIS' Spin-Off
August 01, 2009 09:08:28There will be sort of a crossover between "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" and its spin-off "NCIS: Los Angeles" when both take over the Tuesdays night this Fall. Pauley Perrette, who portrays the goth agent Abby Sciuto, will guest star in the second episode of "Los Angeles".
Executive producer Shane Brennan announced Friday, July 31 during TV Critics Association tour that Abby will have a "fun little cameo" in the new series, helping the unit in solving a case. Previously, Agents G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) have made appearances on the original "NCIS" for two episodes, as means of introduction.

LL Cool J Confirmed for 'NCIS' Spin-Off
February 25, 2009 02:02:42The status of LL Cool J in the spin-off to "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" has been upgraded. If previously he was in talks to nab the role of Sam Hannah, it has now been confirmed that he has secured the part.
Hannah is described as tough but charming former U.S. Navy Seal and is "an expert on the Middle East." The pilot to the spin-off will air as one half of a two-part episode of "NCIS" later this season. Behind the new series which is yet to have a title is "NCIS" scribe Shane Brennan.

February 18, 2009 02:02:43Gibbs and the team will be assisted by a local sheriff in their new case. Next week on "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", the death of a NCIS agent leads Gibbs and Tony into the desert to locate a woman who holds the answer to the mystery.
Lance Henricksen from "Millennium" guest stars as Sheriff Clay Boyd while Mira Furlan ("Lost", "Babylon 5") does the favor of filling the role of Dina Risi. The episode will feature a song by KMFDM called "Love Is Like" which is taken from "NCIS: The Official Soundtrack" album. The 2-disc compilation of tracks was released on February 10, containing 22 tracks that are used in the sixth season, from famous musicians as well as from the show's cast.

February 05, 2009 04:02:06Two major movie stars are heading to television for a spin-off to "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service". "Batman and Robin" star Chris O'Donnell and "Mindhunters" star slash rapper LL Cool J are reportedly in talks to be the main cast of the not-yet-titled spin-off.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, O'Donnell will play an average guy named Callen who is born to do undercover work, "taking on different identities". LL Cool J meanwhile, is considered for the role of Sam Hannah who is a tough but charming former U.S. Navy Seal.

CBS May Green Light 'NCIS' Spin-Off
November 26, 2008 11:11:16CBS' police procedural series, "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", may get a spin-off treatment. It has been reported by reliable sources to EW's Michael Ausiello that the CBS network is in talk to produce a spin-off for "NCIS" series.
Further information on the spin-off adds that a "new crop" of naval detectives will likely be introduced through one of the episode of "NCIS" later this season. Moreover, the same sources also say that "NCIS" spin-off is possibly to be premiered as early as next fall. In addition, Ausiello noted that this CBS' new project will probably put on hold the network's "Criminal Minds" spin-off.

However, CBS total viewers ranks second after ABC that covered the debate.

Earlier this month CBS have released a bunch of photos as a tease to the first episode where agent Ziva David is dressed in a sexy backless gown and singing. While this may puzzle some fans, it is explained in the sneak peek video that she is in Morocco, singing in a bar while noticing a group of people in the audience.
