NBC Excluding 'Lipstick Jungle' From Its January Schedule

NBC network has announced a fixed schedule for its January calendar. Through the new schedule, it can be seen that the network has eliminated "Lipstick Jungle" from its January airing, hinting further on the previous rumor that the network is planning to cancel the series due to the show's poor rating.

Furthermore, NBC also gives up the line-up for its new shows, such as "Superstars of Dance", "Momma's Boys" and "Howie Do It". "Superstars of Dance" will be premiered on January 4 at 9/8c before regularly airing on January 5 at 8/7c, while Ryan Seacrest's new series "Momma's Boys" will debut on the same day at 10/9c, and "Howie Do It" will be broadcast starting January 9.

"Chapter Seventeen" revolves around Nico Reilly and Kirby Atwood who adjust to life with baby Charlie and find themselves at a crossroads in their relationship. Meanwhile, Wendy Healy faces some difficulties to get her latest project off the ground when an arrogant movie producer tries to take her dream project from her. Also, Victory Ford tries to land a new multi-million dollar client.

Brooke Shields Slams 'Lipstick Jungle' Shut Down

Actress and supermodel Brooke Shields finally gives her statement regarding the previous speculation about "Lipstick Jungle" to be axed by NBC's network. The actress who played the main character of the dramedy series as Wendy Healy, denies the series' cancellation on November 16 at Sunday's Kidsfest in NYC.

Of it, Shields gives her comment stating, "They thought that because 'My Own Worst Enemy' has been shut down that the same thing had happened to us, and its not true." She emphasizes, "They're not breaking down the sets. We're still working. We still have more to do, so it's erroneously presented that we've been canceled, thank God."
