March 05, 2009 03:03:14"Life on Mars" may have found out its short-lived fate on ABC, but the show moves on. On March 11, the series which is employed from its British version, will return with "Coffee, Tea or Annie" where the cast go undercover.
When Valerie Palmer, a Pan Atlantic air hostess turns up dead, Annie volunteers for a dangerous undercover mission, posing as the murdered woman to help solve the second in a possible series of brutal homicides. Annie, Sam and Ray, working one of Valerie's flights covertly, uncover an unlikely suspect.

In "Take a Look at the Lawmen", Lieutenant Hunt faces off with his arch rival from another precinct while investigating a bank robbery with international connections.
A longstanding competition between Lt. Hunt and the detectives of the 1-2-5 and Lt. Anthony Nunzio and his men of the 1-4-4 heats up when the Russian mafia appears to be linked to a bank robbery. The investigation becomes a furious contest of one-upmanship between the two squads.

The episode begins when a baby of a prominent family is kidnapped. Then, it will show how Sam learns about his father's involvement in the kidnapping. It will once again bring him to his childhood memory when his father abruptly skipped town under mysterious circumstances back in 1973.

November 07, 2008 03:11:50There is a life and death hostage situation in the next episode of "Life on Mars". Sam Tyler must deal with the uncontrolled situation to save the hostages' life while at the same time he has to save his own life next on the episode entitled "Tuesday's Dead".
The episode will revolve around the crazy gunman who tries to force a doctor to do a dangerous operation for the gunman's brother. He kidnaps the people on County hospital to insist the doctor. Sam and his 125 crew are faced by the reality that the hopeless madman will do even worse on the fact that he already kills several people there. They are ordered to diffuse a potentially explosive face-off. Sam, Ray Carling, Annie Norris, and Lt. Gene Hunt are all targeted in the madman's cross hairs.

"Things to Do in New York When You Think You're Dead", will focus on the murder of an African American girl, whose body is found thrown from a rooftop. A racial confrontation will happen between the African Americans and Puerto Ricans in a neighborhood, regarding the suspicion toward a Puerto Rican as the suspect of the murder.

Sam shockingly finds out that the young woman who is being attacked by Nick Profaci's local gangster, is his mother. His mother case, in fact, links to the murders of two other women that also involve Profaci along with his mob boss, Elliot Casso. But even more alarming is when Sam discovers the involvement of his own squad members including Lt. Gene Hunt on the case in a purpose of covering it up.

Picked up by ABC, the show is adapted from the British television series of the same name, and the stellar cast behind the U.S. versions has just been given an introduction.
Harvey Keitel stars as Lt. Gene Hunt, a man who likes to throw his weight around and acts first and thinks later. This results in several punch-ups between him and main character Sam Tyler (Jason O'Mara) who believes in by-the-book policing. Michael Imperioli takes on the role of "ladies' man" of the station, Ray Carling while Gretchen Mol portrays Annie Norris, a CID Woman Detective Constable who shares a degree of attraction with Sam in the 1970s era.
