New Sneak Peeks to 'Law and Order' 20.01

Some scenes are clipped from the season 20 premiere of "". The longest-running crime drama series will be back on Friday, September 25 with the episode where a young war veteran Greg Tanner is found murdered in a Hudson University parking garage. Cyrus and Kevin put their suspicion over an attorney who formerly worked for the Department of Justice.

In the first half-hour, Cyrus and Kevin Bernard investigate crimes and apprehend suspects under the supervision of their precinct lieutenant, Anita. In the second half-hour, the focus shifts to the criminal courts as Chief Assistant District Attorney Michael Cutter and the Executive Assistant District Attorney Connie Rubirosa work within a complicated justice system to prosecute the accused under the guidance of the no-nonsense District Attorney Jack McCoy.

Six New Clips of 'Law and Order' 19.05: Knock Off

Six new clips from "" have been released as sneak peeks to episode 19.05. The clips of the December 3 episode entitled "Knock Off" are compiled in one video player posted below. Most of the clips focus on the character Dianne Cary and the investigation of a murder case.

The "Knock Off" episode itself will revolve around a tourist from upstate New York who comes to the city to settle his past, but his trip ends quickly when he is suspiciously murdered. When detective Bernard and detective Lupo come to the city to investigate the murder case, they discover the involvement of Sheriff John Burkhart and his deputies on the murder. Meanwhile, D.A. Jack McCoy faces new competition when a new District Attorney is nominated for the election.

'Law and Order' Comes Back Sooner on NBC

NBC has announced that "", the crime drama which is scheduled to air for its 19th season in early 2009, will comeback sooner for its premiere on November 5. The series' new season will be aired at the same time as its regular schedule on NBC, Wednesday night at 10 P.M.

The new season will reunite main characters from the previous seasons such as Detective Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto), Detective Kevin Bernard (), and Anita Van Buren (). "Law & Order", a police legal drama created by Dick Wolf, is the longest-running drama series of American television since its debut on September 13, 1990. The series received 10.8 million viewers for its last season.
