Second Season of 'J.O.N.A.S!' Ordered
November 09, 2009 03:11:12There would be a lot more of Jonas Brothers on Disney Channel. "J.O.N.A.S!" is renewed for a second season under the newly-appointed executive producers, Lester Lewis and Paul Hoen. The former was a showrunner on "The Office" and the latter was director of nine Disney Channel movies.
"These guys are the superstars of their generation," Disney Channels Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh said about Jonas Brothers. "We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did." According to THR, the band had been informed of the good news while they were in Italy for the European leg of their world tour.

Preview of 'J.O.N.A.S!' 1.09: Nick's Bad Day
June 30, 2009 11:06:01Nick is having a very bad day. In the next episode of "J.O.N.A.S!", the youngest of the Lucas brothers got a pink paint all over his head, an opened milk carton falling onto his lap and his guitar smashed by an elevator. As part of the really bad day, he also experiences a writer's block.
When he falls asleep, he dreams of writing a great song but can't remember it once he wakes up, so Joe and Kevin try to re-create Nick's bad day to help him remember. Titled "Complete Repeat", the new episode will air on July 5.

Being the good brothers that they are, Kevin and Nick have to help Joe developing a classical piece to prove he is a serious musician. Meanwhile, Stella bets Macy that she can avoid texting longer than Macy can go without talking about JONAS.

June 03, 2009 03:06:48There will be a fourth member of the Lucas Brothers in the upcoming episode of "J.O.N.A.S!". However, the addition proved to be too much to handle. The Lucas' childhood friend Carl comes to visit them but manipulates their popularity for his own gain.
Nate Hartley, whose credit include "iCarly" and "Hannah Montana", guest stars as Carl in the episode called "Band's Best Friend" which airs Sunday, June 7. Also in the episode, Stella is furious with Macy for buying a collector JONAS potato chip that has a resemblance to Joe.

Disney Channel Moves 'J.O.N.A.S!' to Sundays
June 02, 2009 11:06:12In tow with the announcement about some renewals is the answer to inquiry about "J.O.N.A.S!" status. Disney Channel said on Monday, June 1 that the comedy show starring Jonas Brothers is going through a routine summer overhaul despite the fact that it has not aired for two whole weeks after the May 17 episode.
Instead of occupying its original time slot on Saturdays, "J.O.N.A.S!" is looking forward to form a triple threat with "Hannah Montana" and "Sonny with a Chance" on Sundays. "Hannah" will air first at 7:30/6:30c, followed by "Sonny" and "J.O.N.A.S!" respectively.

Kevin, Joe and Nick accidentally destroy their family's home movies when they tried baking a cake, to their mother's horror. So they enlist Stella's help to recreate scenes from their childhood and put together a home video of childhood memories for their mother's birthday.

Kevin takes viewers to the set of the comedy show, raving on the collection of guitars that he wishes he owns in real life. He also shows the loft where Lucas Brothers, the band that he and his brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas play as, live in everyday. They occupy an old firehouse that has its own recording studio, three poles, snack bar and reclining seats among others.

The comedy series will hit the screen for the first time on May 2. In the episode premiere, Nick Lucas writes a song, "Give Love a Try", for a girl he likes, Penny. Problem is, Nick's brothers think that he is moving too fast with the crush and Nick eventually was disappointed when Penny uses the song for another guy.

Compiling the comedy and eccentricities of the characters, the promo also reveal that the brothers live together in an old firehouse and have to take out their garbage quietly in order to hinder girls.
The series will be premiered on Saturday, May 2 at 8/7c. The first episode is called "Wrong Song" where Nick Lucas writes a love song for a girl named Penny whom he has just met. His brothers, Kevin and Joe warn him that he's moving too fast with her but Nick goes on. When attending Penny's first gig, Nick is crushed when Penny sings the love song to another boy. In the original production of Disney Channel, the brothers will play as themselves, a teen band trying to live a normal life in a regular high school. September 26, 2008 03:09:34More details have been outed by a source in the know about the highly anticipated Disney television series "J.O.N.A.S!", one of which is that Frankie the "Bonus Jonas" will make recurring guest appearances on it. The little boy, whose name is Franklin "Frankie" Nathaniel Jonas, will play as the youngest brother of Lucas brothers, played by his real-life brothers, Jonas Brothers.
"They play three brothers in a band. But in the show, they are the 'Lucas' brothers," the unidentified source explained referring to Kevin Jonas, Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas' starring roles in the comedy series. The source moreover explained that its title "J.O.N.A.S!" is meant as a reference "to the name of the street they live on."

Talking about the series in an interview with Ellegirl magazine, they address on such details, as the plot and their feeling on having the series in their pipeline.
Being asked by the magazine's Meredith Stebbins during an exclusive interview about what people can see on the "J.O.N.A.S!" show, Joe Jonas said the TV series will be about him and brothers Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas "as a band but dealing with normal things like trying to take out the trash and not get hounded by fans." He went on adding, "It's going to be a funny show, and it's going to be a great cast."
